Well you are certainly in the minority cause more critics agree that there wasn't anything intense about Jazbaa.Well, I don't know if anyone else could have done the same job in those good movies. I am not denying that. I am saying at least she didn't ruin them the way you said she ruined some intense scripts lolShe never says all the hit movies are "her pass-downs". Talking about how she was offered some films, which are all facts, isn't a crime. Many actors do that. I don't see the big deal about it. If you do, that's again your POV not mine. So yeah, agreed to disagree.
Well, I'm one of those who has learnt to take critics words with a pinch of salt... they have lost their credibility a big time, especially in the Bollywood diaspora... Neither do I take their words as gospel truth when they say good things about my favourites, nor do I curse them to moon and back when they say bad things about them... My understanding about scripts are my own and for me both Jazbaa and Sarabjit were intense scripts... I can already visualizethe likes of Tabu shining through both of them.
If Aishwarya did non ruin Jazbaa and Sarabjit, well then she did not elevate the ones you have mentioned too.. Lets not have the cake and eat it too... LOL!!!
We understand, she iterates facts... but repeating them often..well she is THE AISHWARYA RAI, who is above Bollywood, hits and flops... Repeating what has alredy been heard and acknowledged duly should be for lesser mortals..
