NEVER EVER compare Bollywood gory scenes to Korean gory scenes. 😆 Bollywood is a kid show next to em.

I hate that. Lars Von Trier does it too. Fetishizing abuse of women.

Madhuri's gang rape scene in Prem Granth..
Also the Raja ki Aayegi Baarat one..

Basically any rape scene which I watched in my childhood especially were very traumatizing.

Also Mehendi movie.. The way Rani's husband creepily looks up at her sister 🤢

I know this thread is for Bollywood movies but one of the most (or the most) horrific scene I have ever seen in a movie is the stoning scene from the move 'The stoning of Soraya M'. No amount of gore or torture matches the brutality of that scene. I couldn't sleep for days thinking that it actually happens in certain societies 🤢

The scene in Tere Naam where they beat up Salman with that metal rod or something. Gosh, that was traumatizing.

Also there was another scene that has disturbed me to such a degree I can't rewatch it even to this day. At this point Salman's character has regained his previous mental abilities and was making the mentally incapacitated inmates copy the noises he was making. Then he falls asleep. He had a big bleeding wound from trying to escape from the ashram. His love interest vists him while he was sleeping and leaves in tears thinking not knowing he is back to normal and thinking he will forever be mentally injured (she later kills herself). Salman wakes up to see her walking away. He screams out her name and pulls with all his might in the chains but can not break free and she can't hear him as the inmates are copying him as they did earlier so their loud noises cover his. Salman bitterly weeps her name in despair as the noises of the others drown him out.

Even if you are a Salman hater, no one can watch this scene and not have their hurt strings tugged. I wanted to give him a hug. The loud noises of the numerous inmates covering Salman's was one of the scariest parts, the sickly and muddy grey and grey coloring of the setting, Salman trying and failing to break the chains that hold him, the hopelessness of the situation which we the audience can do nothing but just watch, just so disturbing. Any other Salman movie he would've been able to easily break free, beat up the other people easily, and sweep her off her feet and into his arms, so this was such a startling thing to watch. I felt so bad for him, I wondered how I would feel in his shoes and I got scared. I watched this at too young of an age. Don't let that happy intro song fool you! Most disturbing scene in Bollywood. When I watched it I felt so sick and horrible, I don't know how I was able to finish the movie. Gave me nightmares and made me a bit cautious of ashrams lol. Also made me very paranoid about getting a head injury.

Apart from the one everyone's already mentioned, I found Shakti the Power - Lolo's (Karisma Kapoor) scenes when she first enters the village, murder of Sanjay Kapoor and Nana Patekar's character beating up Lolo so that his grandson stays and Lolo's escape from the village with SRK's help in this film creepy and disturbing. Not as much as Ashutosh rana's characters in Dushman, Sangharsh. Even Sadashiv Amrupurkar in Sadak was quite creepy.
