If you ask me...No...he looks more animated when he ya with Deepika before n even now...the problem is not about him finding his true love ...the problem is his character...

SLB gave her raw deals in both Mastani and Padmavati.

Mastani was villainous half backed role with Kashi taking all sympathy and credit. She was portrayed as home wrecker. Deepika's only task was to look with eyes wide open.

In Padmavati Deepika was given even less meaty role than Mastani. Padmavati was only there to dance in Ghoomar which a Rani / Queen would never dance. Only her last scene was good. Apart from that she is more of a cameo in the whole film. Hardly there. She also barely blinked. All the time with fixed wide eye look. So monotonous. Aditi Rao looked more beautiful than Deepika in the film. Khilji was an idiot.

It is not award worthy role or performance. SLB betrayed with her.
