He should take a break. It will help him make better decision and come to terms with certain realities that is hard for any superstar to accept. I hope he can be like AB in the future.

Just because rk and rs fans wants to see khans retire or do supporting roles, doesn't mean everybody else does. That's why khans flop movies make more money then hit movies for other actors budget. I love to see shahrukh in a mature roles but hope he picks great roles.

a story is a story. protagonist can be 50,60,70 he just needs to get those stories. though will miss him from big screen untill he is back...

Maybe a role like in DZ or Mohan. Only these two can bring him back. He needs to drop that smug, pretense and just let go. Open up and become free. Loosen up and just be the earnest normal common man.

Although Hindi audience sensibility is much different than the Malayalam audience, but Mohanlal is doing top grosser for Mollywood even in his mid to late fifties.
I don't think it has anything to do with age but with movie choices.
