In terms of solo films/main lead, Alia in a short span has done much better then Deepika.

Vicky Khaushal was nobody during Raazi.
Also women oriented movies open lower than male star boosted movies.

None of the Sara, Shraddha ever had any movie where they were sole hero of the movie.
Kangu, Vidya, Kareena and Sonam are just a few(also Sunny), and in that league Raazi did well.

Padding makes difference, ABCD2 opened bigger than Bajirao Mastani, while Rock On 2 was nowhere near Piku.
So you can see how things work, doesn't mean Shraddha is a bigger pull than Deepika.

Deepika hasn't given a 300 crores movie either.

Plus Alia has never done any movie which had 200-300 crores padding.
As I said Kalank and Brahamastra are her acid test.
Whether she has the ability to carry the big ones, or she is just another big fish in small pond.
