I will wait till Kalank and Brahamastra, and Chapaank.
Than we can decide, as till now Deepika has worked bigger movies, Alia has never done.

Alia has a solo opening of 7.3 cr..which Shraddha,Sara and others also have.Most small films opened in that range this year.VDW opening with double digits.

Her highest BO Collection is 125crs..

Alia has to expand pan India.

Shraddha without the glamour backing, doesn't draw like Alia does.
While I agree she is the only one(from this decade debutants) who can(could) give competition to Alia in terms of box office but Alia is more rounded than her.

Sara never had any solo movie.

VDW, we saw Sonam's drawing power without a proper padding.

None of the women centric solo movie this year or last year opened bigger than Raazi(apart from Manikarnika).

Alia's whole shtick is niche women oriented films KJo curates for her,overperforming at the box office.

Deepika's thing is being this breathtaking beauty in big budget blockbusters.

Typically you would expect Deepika to do Brahmastra and Takth and Alia to do Chaapak. Now they are both trying to get into each other's territories. So we will know soon. 😆

It doesn't matter if you have SSR,Vicky Kaushal,RKR or Ayushmann in the film..their average opening of films is low.

I haven't watched any Alia movie.

Wait! I watched 2-3 of them, but the impression still remains I haven't watched any Alia movie, no matter how lengthy her character graph was in those 2-3 movies.
