For all those who have watched the movie, wasn't the climax really lame. I mean the mask thing was so stupid. I remember how people had trolled Don 2 for a similar scene.

It was a copy of invisible guest ending only gender swap
It wasn't lame but Kahaani had a similar shock of mistaken identity so I was not surprised

I have watched the invisible guest the climax still looked lame. No mask can look as realistic I mean one can clearly tell that the person is wearing a prosthetic mask.

They could have just shown Amitabh's character to be hired by Amrita why did they have to show him her husband?

Amrita's character did not look that rich to hire someone otherwise she would have hired long ago to investigate her son's murder.
It was more personal that the father was asking these questions and knew all the details of the case

I agree with the fact the father asking the question made it more personal but all I am saying is that no mask however professional made will look that realistic it's just not possible now maybe in future it will be.

It just killed the whole movie for me. Until then everything was going so fine both in the original and the new version.

For me the climax wasn't, infact there wouldn't have been a more unpredictable climax... Plus we live in the entertainment world where just a mole on right cheek makes an entirely different identity 😆 IDK if it was because I know Hindi and not Spanish because I liked badla more than the guest wala. The bg, AB Sr dialogues made it more entertaining.

I haven't seen Badla but I was disappointed with invisible guest climax. If Bollywood would hv done such thing originally people would have mocked it for years. Now that it's done abroad before here it looks fine.
Movie was on verge to become my all time fav until the mask reveal.

I think realistic mask is just cinematic liberty

I agree. I was on the edge of my seat and was in awe of everything until the very ending. 😆 I was literally like huh, what? It just seemed a little comical.
I loved the movie and I have not seen the original, but honestly...that mask thing was a little far-fetched. I also feel like Amitabh's character was on point as a lawyer. The way he conducted himself, interrogated Naina, held his composer and whatnot..it just never seemed like a random Joe Shmoe can do the same by merely wearing some mask. I know the couple said they like acting or so, but no way, can anyone random person act so brilliantly... I just don't think it made sense 😆. The mask was far fetched, indeed. With that said, I still thoroughly enjoyed the film and am glad this very ending literally lasted a minute or so. 😆

I think the only time the Badal seemed a little off was when he mentioned how no one knows his wife/Rani better than he. It made me wonder if they shared some sort of history or if Badal had some personal dirt on her...only to realize...lol
