According to this recent thread, Kriti gets no credit for either opening or success of LC, its all Kartik as the National Crush of all men and women 😆

Well then I don't agree! .. 😆 ... After "BKB" there has been a lot of Kriti everywhere .. she made her impact with that movie! .. Karthik made his mark with his movies but so did Kriti .. everyone started talking about her after BKB ... so sorry but for me Kriti gets just as much credit!

when camera rolls, its alia who has to act, not kjo. he can give her well scripted roles, films, but she has to act nah and pass.

only kjo is a director and producer in bollywood. aur kahan gaye?

kjo is giving alia all the roles...how many movies she is going to do?

lets see, why don't slb take kirti for his next. how come he dance around deepikas and ashes...just like kjo dances around alia.

seriously i never thought alia will rock like this in gully boy. she surrenders herself to the directors. at least she doesn't ruin the movies. the impact this girl makes even in small roles. like i said, she is the one acting when camera rolls, not kjo.

oh @ topic...brahmastra wont flop so no question of kjo dumping aloo.

What was Kriti's story if you don't mind sharing!

Lyril incident is shared by R.balki himself. Model coordinator thing Deepika shares whenever she can when asked about how she started. Salman wanting to cast her for lucky was narrated by him and her in different interviews multiple times. He even said humne inko offer kiya tha sabse pehle par tab inko filmein nahi karni thi.

Kriti was egged by friends and relatives to model as she was tall and pretty. Just like that she participated in some fresh face contest and won it. Got her first portfolio done by Dabboo Ratnani as a prize and entered into modelling. When we compare it to other struggling models story it will come across as a fairly easy and no struggle start. But only she would know what sacrifices she made and how hard it was for her.

Arey nah. He actually have no issues with her..atleast did not have issues till she refused Sultan and PRDP. Even now I don't think he would say no if any project works out for both of them.

Yeah, for Kjo to dump Alia, she has to give a series of flops, and his upcoming nepotism brigade of Jhanvi, Ananya and Tara(though she's outsider), someone has to show potential to be as big as Alia.
