I prefer streaming as long as it's not a superhero movie. What's even the point of not watching them on 3D big screen! (So far I think I have watched at least 3-4 movies in theater this year so I'm fairly regular theater goer)
But otherwise honestly Netflix is my goto route.. only issue is Geo restrictions. And for a couple of months am in my home country for a vacation and while I have pretty decent speed it's still not as awesome as I'm used to.. so there's that.. (doesn't matter to me as I'll be back to super fast net speed soon enough) so maybe it affects in more far away areas?
I love my laptop and the freedom to pause and watch slouched on the bed.. so the lure? Alita battle angel is the only time in abt 2yrs I wasn't on my phone and didn't miss some parts of it. So Netflix sure caters to people like me more::
So to answer you, it depends.. I'm a mix bag.. I prefer the option to have both..
