Ra.One was so disappointing

My girlfriend got me into Bollywood movies and I love Shah Rukh Khan and have enjoyed about 90% of what I've seen so far, especially the older stuff.

I also love superhero movies so I thought this would be perfect for me.

It started out really great but then they killed off SRKs real character and replaced him with G.One! Then for like an hour it was just a fish out of water storyline instead of an awesome superhero origin it should have been.

The beginning of the movie was all about his son not looking at him as a hero and I thought it would've been much better to see the goofy lovable Shekhar become a hero. Oh well.

What did you guys think?

That movie is absolute crap. SRK has good wit and good sense of humour but his comic roles in movies sucks.

I remember Robot and Ra. One had released around the same period.

Strangely I had no expectations from Robot and that turned out to be so entertaining while Ra. One which I thought would be amazing turned out to be so bad.
