Hmm I don't think so, I watched the movie and thought towards the end his performance became repetitive. It was a same swag and style he had in beginning, didn't see much growth in his character. Now it could be because of poor writing of his character or poor performance. But for him to steal the show, he would have to be in the show. He was barely there in second half. The truth is he was just one of the charecters and played his part well just like rest of the cast . But Ranveer was clearly the star of the movie and he owned the movie like a start too. It was Ranveer's journey and all the others were supporting cast including Alia.
