#TotalDhamaal sets BO on on Day 2... Metros/plexes join the party, thus contributing to an impressive total... Will score bigger numbers on Day 3, since families/kids are patronising it... Eyes 60 cr [+/-] weekend... Fri 16.50 cr, Sat 20.40 cr. Total: 36.90 cr.

Total Dhamaal Heads For Biggest Weekend Of 2019

The collections of Total Dhamaal went up to 20 crore nett on Saturday as it showed growth of 25% which is very good. The film was strong in some circuits on day one and they have recorded very limited growth or in a similar range as single screens dont tend to grow on day two when the open well.

The film is up where the opening was not so strong with Mumbai, Delhi NCR, East Punjab and Mysore showing the most growth. Also it as after a long time that a film is doing so well in Gujarat / Saurashtra. If we compare with recent big films then they are better than SImmba which was good in Gujarat and will do lifetime of Gully Boy in the weekend alone. It could become the biggest grosser since Sanju in Gujarat / Saurashtra.

The way this film is going it looks like it will emerge the first clean HIT of this franchise though it will be Monday that will confirm.

The film is heading for the highest weekend of the year so far although there have not been many films this year but a total somewhere in the region of 60 crore nett is a big number for this film.

The last Dhamaal film in 2011 had grossed 45 crore nett which will be more than covered in 3 days.

Be it high end multiplexes or the single screens, #TotalDhamaal running at near optimum capacity all across; The Sunday collections poised to be around the Rs 25 crore mark, taking the weekend to approx. 62 crore (+/- 1 crore). Will share early estimates by 10 pm.

Iam glad on one side but sad that GB slowed down.

Ajay both as an actor and a superstar is always very undermined & underrated over 3Khans, Akshay and Hrithik. He just chose to do diff movies more in 2000s. Iam happy for him as well along with Madhuri. He is very good at comedy as well as serious alike.

Total Dhamaal Has Very Good Sunday

Total Dhamaal had a very good Sunday as it collected around 25 crore nett on Sunday which takes the weekend collections to 61 crore nett apprx. There was the cricket match between India v Australia which may have affected the collections a little which means maybe this was not the optimum growth and it could have been more if no match.

The growth of the others film being screened will tell how good this growth is as normally films outside their first week show bigger growth on Sunday. It is the highest first weekend of the year beating the numbers of last weeks release Gully Boy by around 10 crore nett.

The film was excellent in Gujarat / Saurashtra on Sunday as collections went over 3 crore nett in the circuit. East Punjab is the disappointing circuit which should record similar numbers as Gujarat on a entertainer but is well short for Total Dhamaal. Now it is about where the weekdays go but the film is a success for sure on these weekend numbers.
