I feel like she is so much similar to Ranbir interms of acting and characters she has played on-screen . She is way too forgettable for me.

Why does she need to be versatile?

Alia in her element is better than others who are trying to be versatile and failing lol...I don't know why people can't digest Alia's success

Alia is the jennifer Lawrence of bollywood. Generic blonde ( in terms of brain and nepotism) who got lucky once and keep repeating and yet getting first refusal on everything and getting praised over someone way more versatile.

Alia is a natural.Many natural actors don't work hard in building characters.i was listening to Kangana about how she created Datto.She became rani,to play Rani..Her staff had to call her by that name.She spoke like rani on the sets.

I see that lacking in Anushka too.She failed miserably in BV-the right expressions are not enough.You have to live in the head space of an opera singer,every move should have been diva like..

I am not even convinced that someone like Alia can be in bollywood ...let alone being versatile . I find her really boring and can't bring myself to watch her movies however good they are .

Idk man. I never found her good. Tbh her scenes in Highway felt like they were lacking something.. Not enough depth to it. Even her breakdown scene in Dear Zindagi, I just couldn't connect to her. And don't talk about to me about her crying in Raazi at the end. Total vibe killer.

But she has had good moments as well. The scene in which she ran over that guy in Raazi, that hit me hard in the feels. She was good in 2 States as well. TBH as much as I don't like her she is good. But honestly she is on the same level as Deepika and Sonakshi are terms of acting maybe? Priyanka is way ahead. Shraddha is way behind. She is good, but it is an over-exaggeration to call her the Meryl Streep of India.
