Ranveer did certain roles and he got appreciated, but I think he needs to tone it down and be more subtle.

Varun is great in comedy and good in avenging role. He is fabulous dancer. He needs to modulate his voice and do a tragic role. Somehow tragedy gets you critical acclaim.

Overall I find Varun better.

Its amusing to see "some" ppl presenting their personal opinions as gospel truth or some universal fact 😆anyway personally I definitely dont want Varun to be stuck in a rut of RS esque superficial growth/level where he could barely convey any emotions naturally through eyes, or speak mumblese while going subtle😆 mainu bachkani but clear awaaz wala "overactor" hi chalega TYVM😆

Better actor or not, I don't know but I like Varun a lot more than I'll ever like Ranveer off screen.

Just that Ranveer Singh is not the type of guy I like.

Ranveer Singh has been choosing great scripts like Gully Boy and 83, where the story is the boss. I'm glad he's not doing roles where he's attempting to be a hero. Don't want nonsense like that in today's day and age. We've moved on from the 80s.

I mayb in minority here but I m fan of Ranveer and Varun both 😆..

I feel they both hv a terrific range of their own where they excel ..Varun is terrific in common man/boy roles like October or Sui dhaga and has unique charm in rom com movies like Badri or Humpty and I feel he will nail intense/passionate character of Zafar too In kalank going by the trailors ..

Coming to Ranveer ,noone can beat him in histirical larger than life roles like Bajirao or Khilji bec he has that body,voice & charm to carry the look ..Same time he has proved himself in subtle intense roles like lootera and gully boy too where he was fab ..

Both Varun and Ranveer hv one common genre ..thats comedy or massy films where both hv proved their worth whether its Simmba or Judwaa ..

Lastly both can dance like a dream and set the stage on fire ..

So while both their fans can keep fighting over who is better😆 ..I find both at top of their game right now ...Now its bit of luck factor for both about kind of movies they choose which will decide who will get more success in future ...

I think Ranveer's offscreen persona is the problem.

It overshadows his onscreen work.

His personality draws extreme reactions, either people love him or absolutely hate him. Its difficult to be indifferent or neutral coz hez so in-your-face.
