To say that Dan is a complex character to essay may very well be an understatement. I don't mean to say that Dan is not someone who you won't come across in your everyday life, that is highly likely. But still, just like the rest of us, there is a certain uniqueness about him. Dan's idiosyncracies, his to hell with what ppl think attitude & yet coming out as the only person who cared so selflessly
I mean a character so irritable, constantly frustrated, snapping at others and Varun makes him so endearing & likable. His feelings for Shiuli were so ambiguously pure.
And yeah I kinda agree with what u said earlier that Ranbir has/had the ability to elevate mediocre scripts I mean he pulled off that random mesh Rockstar😆 Varun also elevates downright crappy films some times with performances other times timeh right energy.
Ranveer on the other hand I feel lacks that ability I mean Befikre was decent rom-com but the guy just lacked the charm to pull it off.
