Varun could do a October something Ranveer can't even dream of doing without hamming.

I think Varun is underrated as a performer. His screen presence is phenomenal. He is an energetic and bold performer. He can play wildly mainstream characters and then shock with his arty performances in Badlapur and October.

Unfortunately, Ranbir had several flop movies in the past and that is why his market value has gone down these days. Movies like Besharam', Roy', Jagga Jasoos' has earned him a bad name and it seems that the actor movies are doing bad to worse day by day. However, his acting skills are still on top notch which he proved in the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and Rockstar'.

Ranveer is at an all-time high and he is choosing films which are doing wonders at the box office. But he is not a top-notch actor like Kapoor.

Ranbir yes he's had a spate of flops. I haven't watched Besharam Roy Jagga just like I never saw Gunday, Kill Dill or Befikre. But if I compare the best movies of Ranbir with the so-called best films of Ranveer. Ranbir wins hands down. There's a reason why most celebs also pick Ranbir over Ranveer other than the stupid conspiracies floated around.

Varun is certainly a surprise package I did not like him Judwaa because I thought he was aping Salman a lot just the way Ranveer was aping Govinda in Simbaa. But he blew me away with October.

Infact I'd rate Varun's Anti-hero stint in Badlapur (Raghu was way more vile) >>> Ranveer's mild version of Khilji

In October the way he juxtaposed vulnerability & crankiness was superb IMO

So yeah mera toh chalta rahega😆but its my opinion

Haha.. actually i have not watched october. so i cant judge, but saw Padmavat a bit, so feel he was like a big Shadow, covering the industry with his acting lol

Ranveer did not have the privilege to get or choose great scripts like Ranbir or Varun heck even like Sid or Arjun.

To say that Dan is a complex character to essay may very well be an understatement. I don't mean to say that Dan is not someone who you won't come across in your everyday life, that is highly likely. But still, just like the rest of us, there is a certain uniqueness about him. His set of values and emotions are starkly different from the ones around him.

He is certainly a cocky fellow who, for the most part, just doesn't want to be in the circumstances he is in. He is asking the wrong questions at the wrong time and he is just asking too many of them. But in all of that, his intentions are pure as gold. He is irritating yet likeable, cheeky yet innocent and resilient yet vulnerable, he is complex in the most humanly way possible.

And believe me when I say it, it takes a lot of skill to convey the intricacies of such a complex character as beautifully as Varun has done.

I think he still got crazy fan following. It makes me believe, HR has been a major disappointment. He did not live upto the expectations. I don't remember the BOI rank, did the feature him among top 10?

I am sure he is. he does have a sizeable fan following. But something seems off right now, dunno why. He has lost that hunger for success.
