Ranvir has also given flops, till Simba his only claim to fame was mentor and biwi. While Ranbir has given hits with lot of directors. However hits and flops aren't the only criteria to judge an actor.

Exactly it's like tomorrow claims will be made that Deepika is a great actress because she has hits like Padmavaat and Bajirao Mastani 🤪although she was pathetic and the worst thing in those movies.

Because it's only January and Sara only became popular starting November. 😆 Give it some time. Johar loves blabbering about what's popular. Given Sara's steady rise in insta folllwers, he will surely pit the two against each other soon.

that is a popular opinion though i like both of them as actors

and what makes people assume that the only reason they are naming ranbir is coz they are asked to..that is quite an assumption..they can indeed like him more

they are not C grade newbies kissing ass...you really think established mega stars like shah..aamir..ajay..kajol (who is super opinionated btw) etc etc would actually take kjo telling them what to do answer and then answer..
