In between, there was news that the film-maker had signed another top actor for his new film [incidentally, this top actor shares the same surname as his protg]. However, the top actor opted out of the film citing date problems. Now here's the latest development. There are whispers that the veteran film-maker has approached the teen sensation for the project in question.
