I think Shahid had issues with SLB as its the director who gets final say in what the movie contains. In any case, he's not wrong from his POV. Maybe some of that reflected onto DP and RS as they have worked with SLB before? I get why RS but DP also got shortchanged..so having issues with her makes no sense. SLB is also not wrong in choosing to give RS more screen time...its his vision as a director and the better performances make a better film...RS overshadowed everyone except Jim in this movie.

Also Ratan Singh is forever remembered as a brave but naively idealistic king who could not take the hard decisions because of his lofty ideals. Audience was never going to sympathize with the character in the end.

Movie was really supposed to be named after Khilji? I didnt know this. That might explain the focus on the character. Is it true?

His bond with Ishaan is really a treat to see but he should let Ishaan speak up.

Also I love how Ishaan names DP everytime. Kjo couldnt get him to take any other name. 😆

I think Shahid's comment is well said. KJO loves creating this image of his favs being so desired that all the men are just dying to be with them.

He tried that with Varun and Alia and Varun shot that down so well lmao. This comment about fly buzzing from Arjun of all people is hilarious and Shahid did a good job to stop KJO from his PR exercises.
