Almost every cricket board in the world has done it sometime or the other.

Well, then, I believe the BCCI should set an example by not interfering in their players' personal lives and letting them be unless there is some serious accusation from someone about something grave. Talking about how one gets sex shouldn't be affecting contracts.

Also, why does Ravi Shastri not get pulled up for constantly appearing in photos and videos with beer bottles in his hand while being on the job he is assigned? Isn't that immoral behavior and setting a bad example for those 'youngsters' who see him as 'role model'? Or is it because he is a biggie and enjoys the captain's fondness?

Bottom line is that I don't give a damn what Shastri and Pandya do or talk in their personal lives as long as they are doing it consensually (in Pandya's case).

A person representing our country internationally should know that it comes with responsibility.
you cannot trash talk when there are people from different ages, backgrounds following you and idolizing you.

Imagine if Sachin Tendulkar, whom the world looks up to, making such statements...do you think it will give a good example...

You cannot make statements like "Aaj main kar ke aya , don't ask for the girls names as I only see them move, black culture etc etc...

Is this how a person representing national team talks...

when he comes on a public platform, he needs to be responsible on what he says.

On top of that, the way he said it and his attitude angered many even more.

Glad that BCCI took action and also hope he loses his endorsements, when money goes, he will get back his senses...

Pandya is a disgusting POS & I am so glad he is being hauled out of the cubby hole he has disappeared into after KwK, rightfully so! Rahul in comparison was nowhere as bad but because he appeared with Pandya, will get dragged down like him.

Men lost their shit over PANDYA and Rahul choosing virat over Sachin and not the misogynistic attitude and demeanor.

That itself is a testimony to the problem prevailing

Personally, I like that about cricket. Which is why I follow cricket and everything else is just sportsball. But we clearly have different opinions here.

Are you for real? Did you just compare drinking beer with misogyny and racism?

Drinking alcohol is fine. Drinking and driving is criminal. Getting drunk and harassing people is immoral. Drinking till you are a hot mess is poor character. Using being drunk as an excuse for assault is immoral.

But seriously? having a beer bottle in hand as immoral? Oh c'mon.

I had a friend whose initials were MB and only later did we find that she shortened her surname out of embarassment as her original surname was Mahaboob. 😆

in school days we considered it MB you are talking about and not mehboob.😆

How is this related to his game and therefore why is the BCCI moral policing over comments that were made during a chat show? Makes no sense at all. Looks like the BCCI has a lot of time in hand.

Because BCCI have an Image to be saved .
They even took action against Shami when his Wife had accused him of having affair .

Is having sex immoral? Is having casual sex immoral? Is talking about having casual sex with a willing partner immoral? Is admitting that one is a little choosey when it comes to one night stands immoral? (Apparently that is objectification now). Because these are exactly the things for which Pandya is being pulled up. These things are as fine as beer and alcohol and that is exactly why I said I don't give a damn about what Shastri and Pandya do or say as long as its consensual.

Also, calling oneself black is racist?
