Ah that's what I thought, at 15:35 Anupama grilled him on if he would have a strong female character in next and Rohit gave examples of Deepika in CE, Kareena & Ratna in Golmaal as justification. This was just after he joked that he couldn't make a movie with multiple female leads because actresses have too many staff members to deal with 😛

Lol. The excuses men use to not cast more women in movies. What a third-class statement. Somebody forward this to Deepika. Moron.

Because Anupama acts like she is the flagbearer of feminism.. But when it comes to flowerpot roles in some of the movies her husband produced, she have no issue it seems. 😆

She shouldn't be blamed for what her husband does though. She isnt responsible for his actions. That criticism is his alone. She also doesnt critique his movies which I find fair.

As if except Ajay, rest of the male actors are A listers. Rhea just made a multi starrer with women. And male A listers also have big entourage... Bodyguard, yesman, driver, spotboy, agent, costume designer, hair stylist, makeup Dada, gym instructor sab.

I think that is really true. CE was made alive because of Deepika's acting. Not SRK.

how is it fair? you can criticize every other director's movie but can't do that for your hubby? that's her being hypocrite. more over charity begins at home. before preaching others, she should start with her husband first.

'm not blaming her for what her husbnd do but merely pointing out her sheer hypocrisy that she finds it problematic when others does it but is mum when the same thing is happening right under her nose. I'm not even asking her to publicly shame her husband but when her husband is a repeat offender in giving small flowerpot roles to actresses she would be critsized for her hypocrisy. She may not critique his movies but she certainly watch them.

She most of the time only look down upon masala genre as a whole but not the individual directors/ movies that are problematic. The least she could do is acknowledge the lack of strong female lead in some of the movies her husband produced because it is not limited to one or two director/producer only.

Anyways she gets trolled for this issue on sm quite a bit.
