Maybe it's trending good especially in North America. It still needs about 3 million usd which would take it to 14 $ million which converts to 100 ⭐️

Why isn't any Ranveer movie sold to China movie market?

He has the potential to make it big. Earn huge for overseas. To this day I'll never understand how come Bajirao and Padmavaat didn't get releases there.. yet ..other..movies (not just Aamir)..do???

I mean... TOH got there FGS ! And even as flop earned 60 cr from China only ! That will increase its total hugely.

BAJIRAO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE RELEASED there- it DIDN'T HAPPEN.. THEN PADMAAVAT.(still nothing). and now ...WHY NOT SIMMBA??

Rohit and KJo should push for a China release especially as Aamir and other movies sent to China this year(2018) failed horribly.

I mean can't they both push ? They must have enough clout !! And a fun movie is bound to be enjoyed more than , say, TOH, which flopped both in India and Overseas.. yet still as flop got extra 60 cr from China ONLY ! Wouldn't Rohit and KJo love atleast 60 cr EXTRA from China for their movie?

Even small movies like Hindi Medium and others made their way in China. Not all serious either, comedies and masala still made their way to Chinese moviegoers. Seems to me it's a very corrupt style.. only certain movies get there.(Must be that some producers 'hold all the aces'..whilst others cannot get releases at all in Chna)

The whole China market is really important to overseas BO numbers total. Secret Superstar was a flop in India and other markets... but China made it a Blockbuster at overseas...Just China- because they connected well with the movie's theme.

i don't think movies like bajirao or padmavaat will work in china. i mean look at bahubali, earned a lot in India and overseas except china. it flopped badly there.

Ok, yet TOH was released !

Baahubali was released so late I am afraid there were pirated copies sold in China long before the movie managed to get there.. so probably lost because of that also, not just because of being a historical movie.

And Simmba is not a historical ! Why isn't Simmba there? Seems Chinese population watched Dabanng .. so why not Simmba? Especially as it's a fun/drama/action good mix.

. If we say BM and Padmaavat are historical that might not get good trade..I look at TOH- a much poorer movie - that got 60 crore in China..nice bonus to have, right? Baahubaly also made a good amount. They flopped in China means they didn't make 200-300 crore.. but still added a lot. Imagine Padmaavat adding 60 crore.. it would have been one of the biggest movies of India ever.

I still don;t get it, because not only Aaamir movies are released .. but many others.It's odd...which criteria is used- no one knows. It seems there is only certain producers/PH that get to release in China.

That is what I am wondering.

I haven't followed trends there much this year since April , I only know abt TOH as they announced it's 'flopping' with 60 cr earnings.. I mean 60 cr to add to a movie's takings isn't bad...it made TOH reach top 10 on 2018's BO WW movies.

Still holding great and each day is around 6-8 crores... so more crores adding daily. It means there's still interest and now many people rewatch it because they enjoy it so much.
