There was a meeting with ALR after ranveer finished DDD shooting. That time ALR tried to cast Salman and there were news that he declined the role whatever he offered.
After those news ranveers name come up cause he was spotted with ALR and the producer of Eros. But the news disappeared after SRK name come up.There might be some truth who knows it's nothing new.

I am sorry, I guess I failed to clarify my point. It wasn't about any false implications. The timing and insinuation on that article were about making Ranveer seem rags to riches story after having faced such "obstacles", trying to send a subliminal message that "universe and people are on his side, hence asserting that people's superstar tag." Now ain't' that a shrewd PR move?!

People's superstar is a tag used once in a lame post by two paps. I do not understand why it has resulted in such over-reaction on the forum. Let it atleast find some resonance in mainstream media before we label it as a well crafted PR strategy. I see no one using it currently for him like ever apart from that one post made by Manav and Viral.
