Simmba has taken a fantastic start in Pakistan. This massive start also marks the second biggest opening day for a Ranveer Singh starrer in Pakistan. Earlier his film, Padmaavat collected around 1.9cr approx as per estimates on day one in Pakistan.
Ranveer Singh has still not been able to hit a 2cr mark on day one in Pakistan but he is the only Indian star other than Khans who has two films going over 1.5cr mark on opening day in Pakistan. Tiger Shroff has Baaghi 2 with 2cr approx whereas Ranbir Kapoor has Sanju with 3.2cr approx. Akshay Kumar also has one film which is Housefull 3.
With such towering opening day records of Padmaavat and Simmba, Ranveer Singh is turning into a huge boxoffice draw in Pakistan. Padmaavat had huge amount of preview shows on Thursday and if the film did not have any preview shows then it definitely would have opened with over 2cr accumulation.
