What is this guys, is this for real? I know we were all excited during their wedding, but nothing can beat this...Their wedding is their business none of my business, but a good movie is at the end of the day- is all I am asking of these actors and the directors! Can't wait to check it out myself today/tomorrow!

2018 was truly Ranveer's year. Started d year with bb like padmavat and ending it with simmba with a bang.

and by the way it seems like ranveer has finally cut off his simmba mooch lol

Simbaa had the ninth best opening of the year and the morning shows in terms of occupancy were in between a 2.0 and Zero but like Zero the capacity is much higher than 2.0 due to ticket rates so the potential of business is much higher.

Last week Zero failed to beat the first day number pof 2.) when it looked it should as it far higher capacities but the reports probably hit that film. Its a repeat for Simbaa as though occupancy is a little lower than 2.0 the fact that it has higher ticket rates and capacity it should be able to go past 2.0.

Thugs Of Hindostan is the biggest opening of 2018 and is the only BUMPER opening of 2018 along with Baaghi 2. Thug Of Hindostan released on a national holiday while Baaghi 2 was a a minor holiday. Sanju and Race 3 (pre Eid) took EXCELLENT openings on non holidays as did Gold and Satyemeva Jayate on a national holidays. The rest on the chart below can be classified as GOOD openings. Fifteen films have taken GOOD or better initials this year and they are listed below.

The top openings of 2018 are as follows. The film opening wider is given precedence for ranking

Saw reviews here last night, woke up today, booked two tickets and ran to the theatre. Came home after watching Simmba just now. 4 out of 5 from me.

A thoroughly entertaining first half and a gripping second half. No chance to get bored at all.

Ranveer should take a bow along with Rohit Shetty and team. Dialogues are fantastic and catchy. People were whisting and clapping and cheering at several points during scenes...completely enjoyed the experience.

Ranveer SIngh...👏. His best performance besides Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Lootera for me. He plays Simmba in such a way that even though the corrupt cop does wrong things at first, one cannot help but LOVE him as a character. As a cop, he is totally hot and his action scenes were great. For me, Simmba tops Chulbul Pandey any day. He is just that lovable. But when he gets tough, he really gets tough. Lets just say that girls were drooling in the theatre and boys were whistling. 😆

Sara had a small role and she did really good.

Its taken parts of Temper but the finished product is totally different in a good way. Daya of Temper was never likeable as a character, but Simmba one cannot help but love as the much naughty but shy errant child. 😆 Daya manipulated his female counterpart into a relationship but Simmba is naively in love, cutely jealous and it takes a vivacious Shagun to get this shy cop into saying he loves her. Different shades in short. A lot is different in a good way and the second part is mostly 90% different from Temper.

I liked how Singham and Simmba were brought together. Both of them side by side were plain hot and tough. Nothing OTT. I wouldnt mind a Marvel-verse like Cop-verse from Rohit Shetty if story is like this.

A film to watch with as many people as possible. ⭐️
