This year has been gamechanger for Veer. For khilji then simmba.. Two totally diverse role and well written and well acted made Veer is on the way to be next big superstar.. I just hope he chooses wisely now on and doesn't loose his track.. People didn't give him enough credit even post padma and what accolades he is getting is long due and well deserved

I so agree. His versatility is his strong suit. I mean, just look at the variety of roles he has played!

OT: Simmba has crossed $2 million North America in four days!!

That scene where he brings flowers to her birthday. So cute I legit awwed and I NEVER AWW. 😆 Then when he started beating those goons and especially where he goes 'behen thi meri' HOT DAMN. The transformation is so seamless. He was just perfect. I dont think I've fangirled like this for years. 😆

@bold - Totally HOT! And that fight scene when he and Ajay defeat the villains...he's really good in fight scenes too...Esp that walk out side by side with Ajay...I must say Ranveer was giving equal takkar to Devgan in terms of screen presence and hotness. Uniform suits him.
I can just imagine RS in an army getup...that jai Jawan Naval episode had me dreaming...RS + soldier uniform + intense role = Dead me. 😆

My god I have never seen audience at PVR kochi reacting to a film like they did for #Simmba (not even big stars' films), the second half of the film received constant applause & WHISTLES! Rohit Shetty's biggest asset in Simmba is his lead actor, a #RanveerSingh show!

I was averse to the Sam Manekshaw biopic but not anymore. It will help cement his stardom and it is exactly the kind of film he wants to do, big in scale and all.

Y'all imagine that Sam Manekshaw biopic just after '83. National 'hero' 2.0. Akshay Kumar would be shaking in his boots 😆 That would really be something. Cricket and Army and Bollywood. Three things the GP is obsessed about. The level he'd be at! Modiji ghar pe aajayenge to thank him. Or Rahul Baba. 😆

It is so crazy, but I feel like crying with happiness for Ranveer. I obviously don't know him and he has no idea I exist 😆, but it's like when you just KNOW your friend/sibling/child has so much potential, but nobody sees it. And then...POW!! Suddenly the world understands what you've been seeing all along!

Congratulations to the entire team!

aww you summed up all our feelings. I am so happy for Ranveer❤️

It would be insane if he gets the Manekshaw film and somehow both films (1983 and the Manekshaw biopic) are superhits. I cannot wait to see what he does in the next 2 years. Most exciting time to be his fan.

This BG score is so epic. I am sorry but it beat the Singham bg score too IMO. Also the Singham Simmba mashup was awesome.
