Agree either he does/gets mediocre or downright crappy films, otherwise when he decides to do something different he goes way too off-beat, he's yet to do a widely accepted film with proper +ve WOM

Even he knows about this. In one of his recent interviews he did say that he wants to do one film which is liked by 100% of the audience in india and he is yet to achieve that.

This is probably the only thing missing from his career.

Hopefully abhishek verman has done a good job in kalank and varun gets a much deserved blockbuster.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Tamasha had mixed to bad WOM.
ADHM was barely a hit.

Oh yeah Varun said that at IFFI film fest, was like I wanna show ye dekho papa 100%😆,

Co-incidentally just finished watching Fox star studios' CEO's IV with Komal, and the excitement he had for Kalank was, lets say a lot more than he had for any of his releases, he said that the story & film Abhi verman & Kjo have put together is extraordinary & it will resonate with the entire country (something which we were just talking about😆) the only & massive hurdle is clash of sorts with Avengers End Game😆

Really that's great!! I am glad that fox star is hyping it up, I don't see dharma doing that much. Even varun said it during IFFI that kalank will have everything and a great story. It was the dream project of yash johar, it better be good. Our boy deserves his 100% wali movie😆

Avengers seems to be the only hurdle and I am excited for both movies, will probably watch both in theatre😆
