And now, coming to the 'star performer' of this mess, the absolutely TERRIBLE Anushka Sharma. Aafia is easily her worst performance in Anushka's entire career and one of the worst performances in this decade. What the hell was that? You call that cerebral palsy? Such an insensitive, ill-researched, lazy performance by Anushka who thinks that just by shaking her hands and body, she can pass off as a person suffering from cerebral palsy. Fifteen minutes into her performance, it genuinely looks like a pure caricature than anything else. I can't help but bring in Kalki and Margarita With A Straw into this comparison just to express the difference between an honest performance and a dishonest one. Like I said in the trailer thread, Kalki should've really been brought in to coach Anushka for basic training. There's not even a single second in MWAS where Kalki's hand is in a different position or her speech is different in different scenes. It's THAT consistent. And here, hey bhagwan such an inconsistent portrayal by Anushka! What the f**k was she doing in that scene where she gets drunk? Kindergarten ka annual play hai kya? So terrible, so terrible, can't even express properly despite writing so much! And it's not like Anushka is not capable of it. She has given some good performances before in NH10, Pari, ADHM but this one is in some other tangent altogether. I know people say this as a joke but I literally need to rewatch Margarita With A Straw to get over Anushka's performance!
