she had said this before too, that she will live-in only with her husband post marriage.

Fauda...an Israeli show that stereotypes Palestinians and Muslims and presents them a certain way. I hope she can tell the difference between fact and fiction.

I agree with you partially (I don't think the show stereotypes muslims), but I guess the show should be watched only for the watertight thriller that it is and shouldn'tbe taken seriously and a way to gain knowledge about the region. If one can do that, then I dont think there is any harm in liking the show.

For the first time, I feel like I'm getting an insight into the real Deepika. Otherwise, I find her as boring as watching paint dry. 😆

For the first season, I agree. For the second they do try a more balanced approach. But yeah, its to be taken with a pinch of salt. But atleast they don't preach rabid Zionism in it which is good.

The talking to flowers thing is so cute and adorable. Perhaps that's why she posts so much of them. They are her babies in a way. 😆

Two of my biggest issues with the show Fauda, from The Guardian:
"The Israeli occupation is nowhere to be seen - there's no wall, no settlements or settlers, no house demolitions, only a few small checkpoints and none of the everyday brutalities of life under occupation. Yes, it shows that Palestinians love their mothers, but it also renders them as violent fanatics without a political cause."

Diana Buttu, a Palestinian-Canadian human rights lawyer says one of the problems with Fauda is: "If you're not careful, you can find yourself drawn into the assassinations, you get lured in the cat and mouse. The concept of right and wrong gets erased, the illegality gets erased...It just becomes this action-packed show."

And there's many more issues with this show. I don't want to turn this thread into a discussion about Fauda, but I want people to remember - including DP - to take everything depicted with a grain of salt.

That's exactly how I feel! The sports answer took me by surprise. I never pegged her as the adventurous kind, more- let me be in my comfort zone- type.

OT- I relate with her flower obsession. I don't talk to flowers, but I can sit in a garden & stare at flowers, trees in full bloom for hours on end. Though I loathe bouquets, depresses me to see it wilt & die. :/

Same here...Good to see that I am not the only crazy one out there...All my close people know that the best way to upset me is present me with a bouquet of flowers...They always bring me the whole plant, if at all...😆

Waise I read about talking to the plants thing and how it will make them grow better and tried it myself but couldn't keep up with it...😆

OT: Lovely IV...very interesting read...

I liked this interview. She seems sorted & mature. I always thought she was quite independent. I loved that about her as I relate to it. I have managed a home very early in life too.

I think her PR is annoying. She is not!
