Deepika is so relatable to me. I am so happy that she talks to her plants as well. It is therapeutic.

I was surprised by the deep sea diving thing... You need to do a course for that and get special license. Only people who are really interested would do it.

The refreshing thing about the interview is how normal and non-starry she sounds. Practical and humble, that is my Deepu.

For me, jumping in the middle of deep sea, is a big thing. It's really scary. So kudos to her for taking it up as a sport.

Nice read. She sounds like a different person here. I don't have a pet or plant but at my workplace I help to take care of my colleagues fishes and plants and trust me that small break I get just to care for them makes me feel better. I talk to the fishes more whenever I'm feeding them. My other colleague rears some mini shrimps as pets and I never fail to look out for them everyday even if I don't feed or spend much time with them. I don't know if it's the Capricorn thing but doing this helps me in my depression at times. My work and school schedule always mess up and stress me big time and I rely on these small breaks to keep myself sane and calm. It's good that she does this, in a way it can help her with her depression. Cos tbt, depression will be there forever, a relapse is always near. Just have to do the right things in life to keep it at bay. And of course having loved ones, sincere ones, positive ones beside us all the time. Sometimes motivating others also helps, for me it makes me stay positive at times when I'm in low mood. I'm in peer support group so I'm regularly doing the motivating part.
