Must watch in 3D

Loved the concept, the VFX, the grandeur

through and through sci-fi movie

if you are looking for drama, emotions, this movie is not for you.

Love the message the movie was sending. The concept as usual was unique and so important in todays world.

Akshay was good in his role.

only negative I would say is the last 30 minutes, they could have curtailed that a bit

kids would love it though

The film has underperformed everywhere. However the underperformance in Tamil Nadu has been shocking. Opening day numbers have been really low. Sarkar did 31cr (record) and 2.0 did only 15cr in Tamil Nadu. All over India, Bahubali2 opening day was 125cr while this film is less than half at 60cr.

Rajni mania is truly over after debacles like Linga, Kabali and Kaala. Even Shankar's last few films like I have been trash. People have lost trust in them. It is sad since Shankar has given gems like Indian, Anniyan.

Alarming drops. Looks like it is going to be rejected badly. The film suffers from lack of proper plot, emotional connect and even entertainment. It's all just bombastic and meaningless vfx-loaded action which is causing headache to the audience. It gets too boring and tiring.

2.0 (Hindi) is looking to emerge a HIT film as the film has been accepted in most of the Hindi markets. Its difficult to put a number on the third day number yet as some places are going up very strongly while other are stable.

But North India which is traditionally weakest with dubbed films is showing super strength on day three with Delhi / UP heading for 6 crore nett and East Punjab going to 2.50 crore nett. This is the third day and these numbers are excellent in these markets for a film of this sort and that is allowing for the presence of Akshay Kumar.

As these markets are so strong for a dubbed Rajnikant starrer it is only a matter of time when the rest of Hindi markets also play catch up. There is sure to be a healthy jump on day three and the Hindi version is set to be a HIT film at the very least.

Just went and saw the tamil version today to a jampacked audience in bangalore! Thoroughly entertaining film and stunning visuals with a good message too. It was a Rajnikanth film through and through and a delight for his fans Special mention to Akshay,I think he played his part really well! Overall a one time watch definitely for the visuals alone! Rating 3.5/5⭐️

2.0 (Hindi) Is Very Good On Saturday

2.0 (Hindi) has come into its own on Saturday with very good business on Saturday after two good days. The early estimates for the third day are 24-25 crore nett as the film looks at 35-40% jump in collections. The three day weekend is a solid 62-63 crore nett with Sunday still to come.

The film is a non holiday Thursday release and a south dubbed film and top it has lost around 10-12% business in its Hindi version due to a minimal Hindi release in the South which actually makes this 60 crore nett number much better than it actually looks.

More importantly the film has started to score across Hindi markets. Delhi / UP and East Punjab lead and it is a sure shot HIT in these two markets already and no dubbed South Indian dubbed film has ever worked her barring the Bahubali films. On Saturday Gujarat has picked up hugely and it should show another big jump on Sunday.

Sunday should also see West Bengal do a big number which will mean it has been accepted across all Hindi film circuits. A big all India number on Sunday will be confirmation of the families across Hindi markets taking to the film. The film is showing strong business in Karnataka also on Saturday though there is a minimal Hindi release in that market.
