SidMal actually did had a good start, after SOTY his movies HTP and Ek Villain were both appreciated. Even K&S found its admirer. IMO he is a sweet charming boy in the wrong profession.

Itefaaq won a lot of critical acclaim actually. It was a movie with 16 cr budget, no promotions, and it made around 30 I think. But due to no promotions it kind of got lost. So I'll vote for that one as my favorite role of his so far.

Both AG and Aiyaari had issues with their releases. I know they probably still would have flopped but at least they wouldn't have become disasters. Call me a biased fan but AG wasn't as bad of a movie as everyone made it out to be. Alas, what happened happened.

I don't think he's as bad of an actor as IF makes him to be. Everyone has a bad phase and I don't see any reason why he can't come out of his.

IMO more than anything else, the comparison with VD and Alia, adds up to the narrative of SidMa being bad actor, he might not be good, but I guess he does borders on average most of the time.

I liked Ittefaq as well, both SM and Sona acted well, but the movie was released at a time, when I think some problem was going around in MP.
