Would Vivek Oberoi become a superstar without fight with Salman Khan?

I saw few movies of Vivek Oberoi. His acting was really good but he doesn't seem to have the screen presence like Ranbir, Ranveer, Varun or even like Siddharth. People are saying that Salman destroyed his career but it's not like he was jobless sitting home after he had fallout with Salman. He did plenty of movies and some of them were from big banners but most of his movies bombed at the box-office. So would he become a superstar if he didn't get into the mess of Salman and Ash and if he didn't have fallout with Salman?

He was an industry kid who was loved by every critic.
He was touted to be the next superstar by industry, he had full support until the kand happened.

TBH more than Sally it is the industry who betrayed him.

Industry betrayed him? If industry betrayed him after he had fallout with Salman, then how he did got so many movies? He had fallout with Salman in 2003 but then he kept doing movies after that for few years.

Idk, but that scandal definitely impacted him a lot. If he doesn't have it in him, he would probably fail anyway, just the descend would be slower and more graceful.

He kept signing movies even after the fight... all A-grade movies, all flopped. Ab tab ka flopstar Sallu ko kuch karne ki zaroorat hi nahi padi.

VO basically had an attitude problem right from the time he debuted. When he started delivering flops people ran away and claimed it was due to their allegiance to Salman. They simply made Salman an excuse when they didnt want to go ahead with films they had committed to VO because of his flopping films. The excuse was good for Salman's image too as it showed his power in Bollywood.

Vivek is talented but the problem was that he was not proud but arrogant about that talent. I remember an incident involving Adichopra and Vivek. When Adichopra wanted to cast him in Humtum Vivek was arrogant and put down unacceptable conditions to him which eventually lead to a fallout between them and when Vivek was walking out of Adi's office Adi told him that Vivek had the potential of being the next SRK but the problem is that Vivek already thinks he is SRK without really achieving anything. That one statement sums up Vivek's career.

Vivek had a terrible attitude problem! And once he started dating Aishwarya, he was unbearable. He just wasn't grounded. My friend's cousin was AD on Yuva, have heard so many stories from back in the day.

Well at least Vivek didn't beat up ashwariya like bhai did

Superstar? Nope!!! He lacked the aura of becoming a Superstar. But I think he would've been in a better position than he's now, kinda like Shahid Kapoor. People say that he was still getting big movies even after his fight with Salman. Most of his movies were multi-starrers which flopped, which means that they were bad movies. His fight with Bhai definitely affected his career. Otherwise he would've got more solo-lead projects.
