Well Rani replaced Ash in Chalte Chalte and the whole AB jr and Rani rumours probably didn't help.

Finally! Gurls, it only took ya 16 years!! But I'm so so glad they finally let the bad blood spill over.

They both looked like they were tired of ignoring each other!!! Both have matured.

Let's not get it twisted though. Rani replaced her "best friend" Ash in Chalte Chalte without even telling her, and that's the reason they fell out. And then a few years later when Rani was madly in love with Abhishek but he was just leading her on until he found Aishwarya's affection and he dumped her - that caused major tension too, with Ash turning up on the sets of Laaga Chunari Mein Daag to keep an eye on her (behind the scenes video was on YouTube at the time).
