I have liked him in whatever shows I have seen so far. He is from the pre-2008 batch of actors who has done EK shows. Gosh, a lot of the actors who started their careers in 2000-2008 (especially those who acted in EK soaps) come across as Emmy-worthy in comparison with the ones who have debuted in the past 7-8 years. At that time, I used to make fun of their OTT acting, but since then, my opinion has changed. Give them a chance in movies or serials with good writing and they do a good job.

A small example is Meher Vij - one of her acting gigs was as a secondary lead in Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil more than a decade ago ( a show so melodramatic that it would make K3G feel like Kapoor and Sons). (Interestingly, she was paired opposite Sushant , it was his debut too).

Since then she got appreciated for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and won awards for Secret Superstar .
