Yeah no one cares for any kind of accuracy anyway. 9 out of 10 historicals and biopics made in Bollywood are highly inaccurate and full of fiction. Hell I recently saw Mahanati which people raved about (it's a biopic on Savitri) and while it's a well made film, it was an extremely inacurrate depiction of reality. Ditto with period films like Jodha Akbar, BM etc. So what matters at the end of the day is whether it's entertaining and connects to the people. Not sure if KJo can manage that but even if it's a highly fictionalised version which is far from the truth, we can be rest assured he ain't the only one and almost every film maker is guilty of the same 😆

@rogerrocks:. I feel this movie could be good if that historical aspect is not un-necessarily over the top and has a little toned down approach. A Baahubali like telling might not go down well with KJo directing it, same with SLB so he can get his own flavour to a historical. It can be a grand film, sure but a subtle one at it without OTT stuff. At the end of the day, all audience wants is a rivetting film and given how there is a lot of hoopla around the writing, one could wish for the best.

What were the major inaccuracies? did read that Ganesan wasn't like that in real life.

I think rs is balancing out his films well, there are 3 non historical films rs is doing in-between padmavat and takht, simmba, gullyboy and 83, takht I assume is gonna release towards the end of 2020, so that will be a 3 year gap between padmavat and takht

I guess rs took this opportunity to work with kjo coz it may not happen again, rs has said many times he wants to work with kjo

bhumi would be apt for the role but i guess karan would give it to his aloo

bhumi will have to settle for aurangzeb's wife

varun is smart hes not dependent on dharma like sid and alia this movie is a mess and it will backfire and he already has ranboomi
