Also when asked what he wants from his students before SOTY release he said to make money. It was his plan all along. Who on earth is gonna let go of a profitable investment and buy something that's been making losses? 😆 Sid is an underperforming asset but in business you wait it out a bit before dropping it. Luckily the one investment's profits is making up for the other's losses.

Well we can't talk about future projects because they could end up flopping. The amount of money put in doesn't guarantee it will work.

KKHH and K3G were so many years ago. Out of interest what movies that Alia has done would you wish was given to one of her contemporaries? Highway and Udta are the only two that I would rewatch tbh. Dear Zindagi I'd rewatch the second half. And I'll watch Dulhania movies because of the pairing.

Again the same old story. Alia is definitely helped by KJO. But how many movies bollywood releases? Around 250 or so. If you mean those 230 or so movies are waste/garbage then the problem lies with the filmmakers and bollywood in general. Not with Alia or KJO. KJO is producing 3-4 movies in a year. It's time for others to step up their game if only KJO productions have good projects(which I don't believe though).

KJO is businessman and not there for charity. He is sticking with whats working for him easily (for now). Why chopras, khans, kumars and others not shaping up the careers of other talented actresses. Sometimes it sounds like Dharma produces 90% of the bollywood movies and so everyone else is helpless. Still looking after the list of movies they are hardly producing 3-4 movies in a year. And after a 125crr solo female lead blockbuster (no controversy, no item songs) who wouldn't want to cast Alia in their movies?

If only KJO or Dharma have good projects and with 3-4 movies in a year they control the past, present and future of bollywood then bollywood seriously needs to think about their projects. Others need to step up their game or vanish.

when almost all of your films are critically acclaimed since your second film...there's a problem! this means that there is massive favoritism, and unequal opportunity at play, and some one is pulling the strings for you. her career graph is unnaturally perfect. In which planet is an actresses career graph perfect?

as for parineeti...she struggled for two years to be offered a film from a company she trusted. she was not given work i remember her saying she was waiting for the right film to come along. the best film she got was MPB. how are you to say it was her choice...when it clearly wasn't? what is she supposed to do?

Would alia struggle after a flop. NO she wouldn't. instead she is lobbied for and that too a film with gauri shinde who was not even thinking about her. there was strong influence involved.

Just look at the differences between the two circumstances. Is it fair? NO!

priyanka and deepika never had this. no one did that for them...atleast their careers were a natural progression.

[DIV]I prefer an actress who is talented but earns her stardom on her own merit. It is way more relatable and i know that star is truly worthy of their position. I know if I was alia..i would accept those offers (but not all of them were supposed to be hers to even begin with). when the lobbying happens, and over publicity on shows like kwk. where karan is ok with putting down contemporaries..its becomes disgusting and unprofessional! and i cannot root for an actress who doesn't truly acknowledge her privilege but only defends it only because she is triggered. if you ask me...the way she come across especially when she started out is very self absorbed and selfish. being competitive and aggressive is a good trait but it can also be ugly. that is not an attractive trait for a star to possess. and she is not deserving of that top star position imo. when you cheat your way up...it's not worthy...! call her hardworking and a good actress all you want, and she is. but the bad outweighs the good atleast right now imo.

I would like to see her strike a chord with bad films. It has absolutely nothing to do with striking a chord it is the films and opportunity's. Put her in a bad or even average film and I would like to see her rake in the money. Yea maybe raazi wouldn't have done as well with kriti but Alia has acquired a fan base with only the RIGHT successive opportunities. When kriti acquires a fan base, or if she is offered good films .she will also be able to rakee in money. If Priyanka did fashion in 2005, do you think it would have made money? No she acquired a fan base!
This is when too much credit is given. Multiple people are capable of doing well in the industry. Alia is not the only actress and she will not be in the future. The audience will not even accept that.
