When you're number one heroine for so long, there will be n or two cases where you lash out. Otherwise Madhuri has to be a goddess with no feelings. She and Manisha were well known rivals. But she did Lajja with Manisha with no problems.

@tanya91 - I am talking about film magazines too, I have read a lot of gossip, and all gossip is always denied by the star in question, so I don't see how madhuri is different

If Sridevi took away a good film or song from Madhuri and someone asks Madhuri about it, she may have hinted sarcastically about it. She is not a Devi with no feelings.

A persons character is outed not by one or two special incidents but how they conduct themselves over ten, fifteen, twenty years.

It's safe to say Madhuri is one of the most respected heroines in filmdom. She has conducted herself with dignity most of the time.

If she was involved with Sanjay dutt, then which girl doesn't fall in love. If she left him, it was the smartest thing ever. Probably she herself was shocked at proof of his mixing with underworld.

Look at the haalaat of his ex wives.

There must be truth in the allegations, in a way good that Madhuri ventilated. Besides Madhuri is a better dancer.

Jealousy is a very base characteristic, so what if she was jealous of her competition?
