Oh Ishaan will be just fine...Along with ample amounts of boyish charms, he is good at matured acting too...One has to just watch his jealous acting as Madhu in the second half of Dhadak...And also the scene where he back hugs Parthavi and consoles her about how everything will be fine and how he will make everything fine for her(after she spoils clothes while washing them)...That scene literally gave me goosebumps which hardly happens these days in this age of slice of life movies☺️

SPOILER-

My favorite scenes from the film remain to be the heart to heart talk between Bhowmick Da-Madhu and his friends as well as how Madhu and Parthavy patch up.

That small scene speaks so much about the society that we are living in today with so much hatred around. And Bhowmick Da was right- What's the point of giving birth to a child in a world like this? Where innocent people are thrashed, threatened and killed for no fault of theirs?

Also loved the way they patched up.You could literally see how circumstances made these two protected kids in their own little world in Udaipur grow up so fast in Calcutta. Both Janhvi and Ishaan were absolutely brilliant in the way they enacted the scene beside the river bank. And how despite all that they went, Parthavy was still adamant that she wants a house and not a palace.

@Bold: I loved how they inserted the dialogs from the first half when they were in their best phase into the second half when they are in the worst phase of their relationship giving so much depth to such simple dialogs...On a side note,Parthavy is definitely the more matured one with the way she forgave Madhu even before he apologized...LOVED her there!

On another note, even though Madhu was just being petty(and didn't mean it really) in accusing Parthavi of being the reason for their misery, imagine how much impact those words must be having on her later(if you know what I mean)...😭

Will Ishaan qualify for debut? Isn't this his second outing?

WOW KRK's review was brutal. He even said Ishaan was horrible haha...I wonder who paid him? it seemed like a very angry review as if he had some kind of personal vendetta

^ True. It's all a chain reaction. It was just infatuation in the begining- first love. It had no depth, no baggage, nothing. Just pure innocent liking between them. If they were let to live like that, we don't even know whether they would even end up being what they became by the end of the film. Only if the societal structure did not interfere, only if Madhu wasn't beaten mercilessly by the men, neither would have Parthavy escaped with Madhu nor they would have had to struggle hard leading to the climax. But on the other hand, if there was no struggle, then they wouldn't have had to put their relationship to test and emerge a winner.
MAJOR SPOILER

I think what makes the climax spine chilling is not that her son and husband was killed but the way they were killed. Her heartless family made sure that she lives to see in front of her eyes how her husband and son is thrown out of the balcony. She literally sees her kid being thrown from the balcony. She literally sees who does that- her very own family members. The same brother who brought a smile on her face when he took her son on his arms and said Mama, the very same mother who sent her son, new kurta and pajama, the same father who blessed her a few days back, her whole extended family who came to her house for the first time since her elopement, that whole happy state of Parthavy's because of which she goes to buy the Jolbhora which she could've done later as well but she went fast so that they could serve them that and start a sweet, new beginning with the satyanarayan puja at their new house and then all of a sudden, seeing the very same set of people behind her reason of happiness turning into her reason of grief forever and shattering the dream of a lovely new life after a phase of struggle...shattering !! Completely gives a punch to your stomach especially when you put yourself in Parthavy's place..

.and I can't even begin how well did Janhvi enact the last act of the film from the time Vaara Re begins. she surprised me the most there because she suddenly got some kind of confidence which was so evident on screen...the part with her pre delivery , her phone call to the parents, her going to work, taking care of the house and finally the end... ❤️ So much maturity...I hope she works really hard to get over her flaws and nervousness. I can't wait to see what she does next.

They will probably combine it for BTC & Dhadak for him most probably like they gave Ranbir best actor for WUS, Rocket Singh, APKGK all in one to give him an edge over Shahid for Kaminey. Ishaan got a lot of praise for BTC as well.

His competition is Sallu's BIL and Sunny Deol's son. Jahnvi has more competition. But she has a solid chance unless Sara makes a huge impact with 2 back to back films.

I don't know why people are always so unsure about Kapoor brothers' "Future. Why can't Bollywood viewers simply enjoy the way they do with other nepotism-filled actors.

IDK much about Shahid's early career, but Ishaan is not your usual BW chocolate boy hero nor did he debut with a movie that required a chocolate boy type. So I am curious what kind of movies he will get as BW as not exactly known for variety and he is not from a big BW family that can produce movies for him. It will be an interesting career I can say. He is very, very charming both on and off screen.
