It should to what level Kamli is going to forgive Sanju and how much of a tharki Sanju is.

But do you think it added anything to the story?
I think the fact that he didn't buy his first car for Sanju was far more important to establish his Bhakti towards Sanju.
As for Sanjay being a tharki, the 350 mark already established that.
I feel it was just another of Hirani's Just-for-Gags sequence.

No while the selling car part showed how much Kamli loved Sanju, but this part showed that even when Sanju does the worst shit to him, he forgives him.

308 girl friends part was just a surface and actually fun part as it didn't gave us a peek at what kind of hook ups he had but this Pinki part just showed what level of tharki was Sanju.

Just for laughs gag was the sexpear, snakes and hole IMO. Which turned Kamli into a caricature.

True. They shouldn't have included the stripper scenes because it makes Tanna's role null and void
