Ranveer's acting as khilji was pathetic, the character was totally half baked and the movie in itself was terrible, I can't believe how overrated ranveer's performance and the movie is. Ranbir did do well as sanju, I think it was a better performance than rockstar and barfi. I do think the head hitting on the wall could have been better directed/acted, I don't think they understood how insane Sanjay got locked up in solitude for 6 months in the dark, he didn't bang his head due to bail being rejected, he banged it because he had gone insane. However I don't see anyone else playing sanju except for ranbir, ranveer would have totally overacted as sanju, and would have ruined it, he doesn't look like him either. Ranveer was really good as bajirao, but lately I am disappointed with his acting.

if I want I can post many more tweets praising RK but I am not that desperate like you and I dnt even have to do it as his work is doing the talking..For me this year so far belongs to RK and your so called 'public tweets' won't change it.

Obviously RK nailed as Sanju. He got so many appraisal that half of the award he already got. The appreciation from people itself is not less than getting awards.

Without getting into any OTT act, he just done outstanding job effortlessly. So if he doesn't get then the award should not get by any actor.

I haven't watched that part you mentioned..I respect your opinion but I am still not convinced about RS being able to pull off a Sanju..he may be able to imitate Sanjay dutt to an extent but making people forget he is RK and living as Sanjay through out the movie,its unmatchable.

no chance even as supporting actor, there is Vicky Kaushal.

@topic: I did say after watching October and Padmavaat that there is lots of room for that epic performance, and there you go...RK delivers as Sanju.

just pray that RK doesn't sweep both popular and critics. but they might pick Varun over Ranveer for critics award. some critics like KRK said khilji was chiropan act.

don't know how many here watched movie 102, hell big b was fabulous, so was Rishi Kapoor.

btw...there is still TOH and zero to come. amir, shah and big b are capable of delivering solid performances. so lets have patience.

for now RK has raised the bar high, not only in performance, but boxoffice collection as well.

let me tell you how sanjay dutt was presented in mpvie was hirani idea and there are so many news hirani reshoot many scens where he was not satisfied so plz stop behaving like ranbir reason this role looling like this hirani present sanju the way he want if ranveer was sanju hirani will present sanju same and ranveer can act subtle too lootera bajirao are example so plz dont try to bring him down for your fav

excuse me idont need to get inscure like your fav rk already tell ranveer can do snaju if he was not playing that says alot and iam posting tweets and news which is reality for opening your bkind eyes and shamshera looks is copy so iwould say that you can say whatever

I guess they'll give RS villain and RK hero to satisfy both.

I personally didn't like RS as Khilji but it probably had more to do with SLB and the OTT direction he wanted to take the character, than Ranveer's acting skills.
