well I have made a tradition of watching movies in both multiplex and single screen😆.
Not all movies but movies which either I like or planned in advance(only Rock On happened that way, which I watched thrice in a row 🤣).

Well there is no one answer. Its a mix bag

1. Incumbency factor. Definitely as they have indeed rule BW for long now

2. Minority/religion. Definitely an issue for some. No need to sugar coat it. This is why they get told to move to Pakistan if they make some mistake. lol

3. Fan wars.

4. Insecurity, jealousy, among losers who pull leg of successful people

5. Good looking. Many average looker hate that

6. Getting young girls so many 50 year old gangas hate them for being fit and good looking.

Its a mix bag...hence all this.

I love the Khans...only SRK & Salman though.

I was one of those who stated that Salman should either retire or pick up different scripts like Bajrangi or even Dabangg.

As for SRK, he's capable of so much more but is picking up really bad scripts. I know many say that he's achieved so much already and he is now free to experiment. That's fine. But as audience, when you walk out, you should feel entertained and happy. That's not what SRK's movies do these days. His acting is still fab, but the scripts are really weak, so the overall impact is not there.

Times have changed, we have a new generation, a younger one who will not accept trash from these big stars.

I do really think that it's time for these stars to reinvent themselves...pick up scripts which the audience can appreciate.

As for the current generation of actors (Ranbir, Ranveer, Varun et all) can only dream of achieving what these Khans have achieved...they have a long, long, long way to go before they become SUPERSTARS like the Khans, if at all.

I got attracted to BW because of SRK. My filmography of BW is Khan heavy, my memories are intertwined with their movies. Yet I want to smack SRK and Salman especially.

They are coasting now on the strength of their previous work and taking the audience for granted. I have being saying this about Shah for a long time and JHMS was the final straw. Shah got his ass handed to him for that and the quality seems to have become better now. Shah has no right to misuse the trust people gave him to make movies.

Same with Bhai. What the hell was Race 3 ? Stocking it with mediocre and crappy actors except Anil, giving work to Nalayaks like his BIL in a new movie. You do not take the paying public for granted. Stardom was earned by Salman, he has no right to misuse it. Got his ass handed to him. Hope he learns too.

People don't say retire to Anil, Akki, Ajay and Aamir. It is because they see the effort. Look at the effort of the youngsters like Ranbir, Ranveer. Months of prep and yet they do not get rewarded for most of it.

Don't take the love of people or stardom for granted. Shah and Salman have. So if they are bored, get the hell out. Else work hard. There are a 1000 people struggling to make it happen both insider and outsider.

I think this trend has more to do with age then fans. Majority of these "fans of new gen were born after the year 2000. They were like 2-3 year old when the khans were in their prime. Plus these teenagers have short attention span. The people online who were screaming Khilji Khilji few months ago and are now screaming Sanju Sanju and by the time December comes they will be screaming Simba Simba Simba.

If you look at majority of the trolls on Insta and Twitter they are all teenagers who think they know it all. They haven't seen the khans at work when they were young... they've only ever seen the khans in their late thirties now in their 50s while their faves Ranbir or Ranveer or Varun are young and hot and "sexy looking with abs and what not.

We are like this only. Any problem?

Grievance is our favourite pass time. We get jealous of successful people. We hate people who are at top. We get restless, when things go on and on. We want change.

Yes, we complain about Khans. They are successful people. They are at the top for too long. Their acting look monotonous for us.

Then there will be a day. Khans are no more at the top. There are some different people. Kapoor, Singh whatever. Then we start complaining about them.

"These people cannot give us movies like what Khans used to give us before. They used to give us clean movies. Entire family could watch" etc.

Time, people are variables. Complaint is constant.
