Devasena from Bahubali
Anushka in Band baaja Baarat-she was so clear about what she wanted in life.
Anushka in NH10-the portrayal of the urban couple was very realistic. And great slasher film.
Aishwarya in Jodha Akbar
Aishwarya in Dhai akshar prem ke
Aishwarya in Kandukondein kandukondein sense and sensibility is such a heart rending Jane Austen, more than Pride and Prejudice.
Aishwarya in Guru
Aishwarya in south Raavan
Actually I wish Aishwarya did more south movies. Her portrayal in them is on another level. And also she seems more natural there.

And who can forget the headstrong Basanti from Sholay

Ps- contrary to what most people believe, I think zoya was a lot more innocent. Yes, she was headstrong and manipulative but if it were not for her pure heart and conscience, she wouldn't have handed herself over to the police at the end of the film. This is just one aspect, there are many more such facets to her. Even 5 years after the film's release, Zoya's character and her actions still makes me ponder about human psychology and how society and upbringing influences it. Well, anyway. Noone here will get what i am saying or worse, think I am being pseudo unless they are a Raanjhanaa/Zoya enthusiast.😆

Well I wouldn't say it was innocence but more recklessness as everything got out of hand and ended up going to far.

She knew what she was doing and did it anyways. She was no candid lol.

But indeed one can look at it in many ways. That's what I like about this character.

Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke? Really? What was so special about the character? It's been years since I watched that film. Didn't think there was anything special about the film or the character, apart from a couple of good songs.

And @bold: agreed!

Nothing special rather pitiable actually. But something I identified with. She didn't want to get married and wanted to study more so she lied to her family that she had already got married. Not something I've experienced personally but I could feel her situation.
