Watched the movie today. Loved it but in the entire story only felt bad for 1 man - Sunil Dutt.

Spoiler alert: It touched my heart when Sanjay's character said that Sunil deserved a better son. He truly did.

SANJU IS ON THE VERGE OF CREATING HISTORY BY BECOMING HIGHEST GROSSER OF ALL TIME.

Sanju is holding very strong even on the Weekdays of Week three as film is now close of creating new history. Film is just few lacs short of Sultan lifetime numbers and is all set to become first Hindi film ever to become highest grosser of all time with a non Khan star in it.

Film raked in 52lacs approx on third Tuesday taking 19 days total over 33.6cr approx. Film will be beating Sultan and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani today and it will be beating Punjab Nahi Jaungi over coming Weekend.

Below is film's business breakdown till now.

Week One.. 18.65cr

Week Two.. 10.86cr

3rd Weekend.. 3.01cr

3rd Monday.. 60lacs

Dutt's biopic Sanju which hit the 300 Crore mark featuring actor Ranbir Kapoor did the magic for Sanjay Dutt with 61 points . While Ranbir who played Dutt in the film climbed on the third position with 44 points behind actor Salman Khan with 56 points and ahead of Akshay Kumar on the fourth place with 41 points and with 30 points Amitabh Bachchan on the fifth place.

Sanju Has A Strong Third Week

Sanju had another strong week as it collected 29 crore nett apprx and took its three week total to 319 crore nett. It is now the fifth highest NETT grosser ever after Bahubali - The Conclusion, Dangal, Tiger Zinda Hai and PK. The GROSS numbers are still less than films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan.

The drop in the third week is 67% and if this drop is repeated in the fourth week then the film will struggle to reach the numbers of PK and Tiger Zinda Hai and go higher than fifth in the all time list. But this is the holiday factor in play and the open run that films get in the Xmas / New Year period. The film is close to 99 crore nett in Mumbai and will hit 100 crore nett over the weekend in the circuit.
