To be fair, after listening to the whole audio song and the press con where they said only the hook step has been choreographed, I would actually watch the whole song in the film before completely writing it off because the Dhadak one released yesterday is an edited version while the original that's available online is the film version. Also whoever is cutting these promo songs for the film are doing a bad job. Th3 zingaat song looks so choppy, at one point the steps don't even match the tunes. Same was the case with the Dhadak track, such random incomplete scenes in such a heavy duty love song.
I don't mind the choreography in the song, my only problem is the kind of choreography in the song. It's not like the original did not have any choreography. You can see a choreographed hook step in the marathi film also but they kept it natural so that it does look like an impromptu dance sequence which it actually is in the film. But here, the hook step is such a weird one with all the dab and stuff. It looks good as a seperate dance performance (like the BTS video) but in the song, with all that energy and the step, it feels like the guy is suddenly very happy with his crotch and has gone out of control.
