Just saw BTS video. OMG ... she can dance well too! The movie doesn't do justice as she's hidden partially because of the balcony and that costume. Can barely see the leg movements which Ishaan gets to flaunt.

i wonder what is so special abt this song...i watched both version...marathi one though i don't know the language and dhadak one...both look ordinary to me...nothing special...only changes in background sairat is rural n dhadak is colourful thats it...i really don'rt understand the comparison...i don't even like the song actually in both versions...its too noisy...i didn't like in marathi...i will want to be honest here...i don't like in hindi too...even this song is remake in tamil..telugu..malayalam...english...its a big NO...NO...NO from me...i am not fond of this song...this song will never grow on me

coming to the video...mini shahid is dancing😆...ishaan is good in dancing just like his elder bro...he is not a looker but he has a smile replica of his bro...very talented...well this song focus more on ishaan so i could comment abt it...from off-screen videos...janhvi has done a great job...she is not a dancing goddess like her mother...her mom is iconic when it comes to dancing just like her acting...all her mom songs are iconic in BW even now when we are in 2018...janhvi is definitely good and has brought her own charm n style in dancing...its just that its edited badly or they just want to focus on ishaan...overall is good...

gosh...what i really focus and that stay in my eyes is ishaan-jahnvi chemistry...they look gorgeous together and their eye-locks are so natural...the way ishaan looks at janhvi or i would say madhukar looks at parthavi with so much love...intensity n passion...totally mesmerise by her...just gives me a big DHADAK...they share a great chemistry...very natural...very real...

Its Bollywood.. so makers have to put in elements that caters to the Hindi audiences. That's why they glamorized it.. & hence i liked it better than the so called 'rustic' Sairat. I like big production stuffs!

Agreed. Thank God makers didn't listen to the nitpickers and stuck to their own concept. As if honour killing is only restricted to such "rustic" villages.

No, Honor Killing is not restricted to villages, but nowhere in the world does a choreographed dance happen in a scenario life the one in this song situation lifted straight from Sairat. The situation is the birthday party of the heroine's brother, the hero is not invited to the party. But the heroine invites them especially as they have not seen each other for three days. The hero and friends gate crash the party.

This is not a folk dance like Garba with choreographed movements that all of the community knows. You make something close to a item song and then expect people not to get offended ? It is the same as how people got offended at ADHM and the presentation of Stage 4 cancer patient. It simply does not exist and such situations especially when dealing with weighty topics like honor killing or cancer takes away from the integrity of the subject. It speaks to a flippancy of attitude. This is the reason SLB gets dinged on authenticity but Bahubali escaped criticism for having a flying ship. For there is a difference between History and fantasy, real life and caricature.

If you insist on making a movie about history or something set in reality, have the courage to make it set in that period. So what does a BW audience want? . This is the age of movies like Kapoor and sons, VDW that tackle subjects like homosexuality, masturbation which a generation ago would have been impossible. You cannot have it both ways. Either the audience is "mature" enough and wants to tackle real subjects or needs everything choreographed, packaged and pretty with no whiff of reality. This is the same audience that rejected Race 3 despite high production values because it was not a story told with integrity.

IDK what will happen to BO of Dhadak but if you are tackling tough subjects have the integrity to say a story without embellishment. That does not mean poverty tourism or set in rural India. But have the integrity to pay attention to little things, not have Jhanvi wake up with make up in a slum which is one of things Sridevi mentioned to be aware of after watching 25 minutes of the movie. "Don't wear anything on your face in the second half" was her advice. High production values does not mean fake or cheesy which is why BW and Dharma don't have respect when it comes to cinema.
