Because you display ignorance when you equate talking about periods to masturbation in films.

I have no problem with hate story, Lust story or whatever as long as they have ratings. But equating talking about periods to masturbation and movies with A rating I assume ?

Ignorance is why we need to start talking and I as a woman will support that.

Because many girls and women like me are not fortunate enough to have access to multiple bathrooms or sanitary napkins or tampons. They have to stay home from school and stop education because of lack of toilet facilities which ironically I learned from Half Girl Friend. They have to stay at home for days because periods is treated as a sickness, something dirty when it is just a bodily function. So yes we need to talk about this because if people like you who can write in English on a message board and I assume educated, privileged enough to do so and still consider talking about periods and masturbation the same then hell yeah we need to.

We NEED to have open discussions on menstruation. I never thought i would still have to read comments like these where periods are being referred to with a tone signalling as if it were a taboo!
