The idea of Bharat was from Salman or one of his brothers. I read it somewhere. They saw the Korean movie and wanted to make an Indian version but this kind of adaptation is very hard to do. That movie was about Korean history so they're going to have to change all that history to Indian history. It spans over a long time period so Salman will have to be shown young for at least a portion.

Biggest problem with all BW movies is that they can't get the script right. This script requires a lot of work to adapt correctly which is already problematic. Then there's the fact that it hinges on actually acting which Salman doesn't seem to care about. I saw a clip where he said he is going to start doing double shifts like the 90s now because he wants to make more movies at the same time. Err? 😕

He wants to do double shifts so he can rapidly dump movies like Dabang 3 and Kick 2 on us? 😕

Yes and what a difference between that look and R3 look!

Truth is fans can only do so much..every actor/film needs the neutral audience to show up to get the giant numbers at the end. The neutral audience has a lot of options today and it's not as easy to dupe them. All of BW needs to pull its socks up, but especially the older brigade. BW is anyways ageist and there are limited stories for leading men today.

He's just trying to make the most of his last few years as a leading man and churn out as many films as possible before he has to transition over.

I used to like some of his 90s movies and even his acting was not as bad as it is today. He was fine and likable on screen and I preferred him over Aamir. He had some charisma at least. But now I really don't know what options he has. I see nothing interesting on the horizon for him.

See the Khans will be 53 years old this year...ab downfall toh hona he hai...koi pehle jaayega koi baad mein...Aamir will be the most flexible here...he made Dangal the biggest grosser and he played a 55 year old Dad to grown up girls...I am hoping SRK will concentrate more on content based roles...and less of romance...but theek hai...all the 3 Khans are legends...no one can take away anything from them...I seriously laugh at Sallu only in comparison to Aamir...but abhi ye naye wale stars ki jo fauj hai...no one can touch the Khans.😛

Bharat hasnt been compromised so far with the casting or anything else . I trust Ali Abbas Zafar , he can balance Salman's larger than life with a story

Honestly I even trusted Kabir too especially after Bajrangi Bhaijan
I even don't wanna trust Hirani too
You just never know when a trusted director is ready to give a dud

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.

Poor collections prove movie is bad.

How long can Salman take his fans for granted, how can they keep watching crap after crap.? This is a warning sign and from here on it's going to get tougher. Salman needs to stick to good stories and roles which suit him.
