Kangana ranaut: Alia is an undisputed queen.

Meghna Gulzar's directorial Raazi' has
been performing stupendously at the
box office. The film which boasts of
some stellar performances by actors
Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal collected Rs
4.42 crore on its third Sunday, taking its
grand total to Rs 102.50 crore at the
box-office. As per reports, Raazi' is the
fifth Bollywood film of 2018 to enter the
Rs 100 crore club after Padmaavat',
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety', Baaghi 2' and
Raid'.
In fact, it also marks Alia's third film to
make Rs 100 crore after 2 States' and
Badrinath Ki Dulhania'. The spy
espionage drama narrates the life of a
young woman named Sehmat, who goes
that extra mile to serve her country. Set
in the India of 1971 and over the
backdrop of the period leading of India
Pakistan war in the same year, the film
covered all sensibilities of that era.
Recently, Kangana Ranaut was spotted in
the city after watching Raazi', and
during the media interaction, the Queen'
actress revealed how she was completely
in awe of Alia Bhatt. She even went on to
call her the "crowned queen and
appreciated the fact that a woman
director's work is being greatly
celebrated by people.

Kang has always liked Alia and praised.her. I remember back when Alia said that one comment about wondering where Kang is always going on her frequent airport trips on KWK, Media asked Kang to comment on that and she was like no, I don't find that offensive. I love alia and her spirit, she is so talented and is a lovely girl and I always try to reach out to her, plus even called her India's official sweetheart. LOL. 😆 I honestly don't get Kang's such goodwill towards Alia, the only reason I could come up with at the time was her and Alia having the same stylist, Ami patel. And Kang is quite close to Ami, Alia also seems close to Ami, so they could have gotten to meet each other that way. Or maybe she just appreciates Alia's talent. I quite find it hilarious though for some reason. 😆😆

Alia is potentially in everyone's good books..havent heard of any bitter rivalries/ katty remarks with any actresses - Parineeti/ Shraddha etc. Even if they are all fake smiles, all seem to speak highly of her.

It is the all new Kangana in the last few months..that surprises me.

Earlier I was the lone non Kangana fan supporter..Now everyone is her fan here and I am so disappointed in her.

Let us see what the future holds for the new Kangs.

Here's the thing. I'm no big fan of Alia's, heck, and probably never will be and that's just a personal thing. But you have to give credit where it's due. It is a female centric movie that did 100 carores and that has to appreciated and celebrated. This one film doing well can open up gates for solo high budget films for other actresses, too. For example, Vidya balan's dirty picture and Kahaani in those earlier days, then queen, and piku, each of these successes added to a women centric genre becoming more prominent in bollywood and now we are here at a day that female centric film did 100 carores. (Though TWMR in way did it before, too). So I guess this is the 2nd movie to cross that. But each win in this area just adds to the larger picture for women in bollywood. And Kangana is secure enough in her position to recognize that larger picture and appreciate her female colleagues like Alia that are doing such work. Nepotism is a whole another debate that should be discussed separately from this topic I feel like.

It is a Dig at her Arch Rival, Deepika by the Cunning woman. This woman is super jealous of Alia too but Deepika is her Bigger enemy. Even supported Karni Sena indirectly during Padmavat time.
