Didn't exactly say that! He was asked whom he would cast in the movie "Friends with benefits" n Abhi came up with Deepika-Ranveer's names for it.

But over all in that episode he was throwing shade at Ranveer though tried covering it up max..but in general it gave an impression that Abhi is not exactly fond of Ranveer.

I found it very ironical that he was writing off Ranveer n Sushant as an actors n himself was giving sermons on acting. Look how it all turned out 4 yrs down the line!!

He wasn't his usual likeable nice witty self. He was extremely frustrated!! And it so showed! He was pretty over-weight for an actor too & he's totally average looking anyway so it looked worse on him + he wore some ugly velvet coat. Lmaoo. I think his total frustration & depression really showed, I like him a lot so I just felt bad for him. He's a cheeky brat. Don't think he's actially arrogant etc even back in the day. It's a curse when everyone esp your spouse overshadows you in every way.

Its not about being diplomatic or being jealous. He was giving sermons on acting when he himself is not good at it and both those guys were better than him at that point of time. His dislike was palpable and was strange coz he is someone who says good things about even salman.

I don't think he dislikes them, per se. Most probably he was a tad jealous that they were 'stealing the limelight' from him and Aish.

Also, he was starting to give a lot of duds and people were commenting on his flops.

My bet is that he was disliking everyone that was more successful at that point.

Just he was more inclined to talk about some more than about others (i.e scared to say anything negative about khans). He is friends with HR, so no way he was going to bash him.
